All of our Aesthetics courses are led by our in house aesthetic Doctors. This Advanced Dermal Fillers Course is suitable for students who have completed basic Dermal Fillers training. If you are confident in administering injectable treatments, then this is the course to help you develop your skills and offer advanced treatments to your clients. The advanced course includes the use of dermal fillers for Cheeks, Jaw, Jowl and Chin using both needle and canula techniques.

Like all of our courses, we will train you how to consult and assess your clients so that you deliver a tailored treatment and achieve the best possible results. We will also share with you the essential artistic principles that will help you design treatments that fit each client's face using a simple 5 step assessment process designed by our Clinical Doctors. 

We review industry leading safety protocols to greatly limit the chances of your patients having unnecessary complications and side effects. After completing this course, students will gain 24hour emergency access to our Doctors should students require it.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10:00 - 17:00. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will refresh on the theory and A&P of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. 

Whether you are looking to learn a new skill currently working as an aesthetics practionor or looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

Models are required for this course, students are welcome to bring a model to work upon, otherwise the academy can supply one. Models are charged at a discounted rate of £95 per ml. If you would like to be a model for this course please CLICK HERE.

A 20% of course fee deposit is to be paid upon booking. Once you have made contact and have your chosen course date, you will need to complete payment. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the course.

• Understand the properties and different functions of advanced dermal fillers.

• Understand how to choose which dermal filler to use for greatest effect.

• Understand important facial anatomy and integrate this into a facial assessment.

• Understand the anatomy of the face with regards to safety, side effects reduction, efficacy and longevity of treatments.

• Understand how to avoid but also deal with side effects, from simple allergy to the very rare but serious side effect of impending necrosis caused by arterial embolism or compression.

• Understand how to treat localised allergic reaction to dermal fillers.

• Understand how to manage side effects of dermal filler, including reversing a treatment safely.

• Understand how dermal filler treatments change or persist over time to avoid over-treatment.

• Establish confidence through supervised consultation, assessment and treatment of demo models with dermal filler.

• Know the various dermal filler injection techniques and when to use them, using both canula and needle.

• See the importance of good medical photography in practise.

Previous dermal filler experience post foundation training  is required for this advanced course, where a honed injection technique and a lot of precision are required.

We recommend trainees should ensure a minimum of 2-3 months carrying out basic dermal filler procedures prior to attending this course.

As a guide a minimum of 10 dermal filler injections should have been completed post foundation training.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will issued your accredited certificate.
