This course is structured over one day and runs from 10:00 - 17:00. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. 

Whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as an aesthetics practionor and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

Models are required for this course, students are welcome to bring friends/family members to work upon, otherwise the academy can supply them. Models are charged at a discounted rate of £95 per ml. If you would like to be a model for this course please CLICK HERE.

As we work on a 1-1 basis we let you suggest when you would like to book your training courses, making it extra convenient for you. Please make sure you give us the correct contact information, without this, we will not be able to deal with your request. 

A 20% of course fee deposit is to be paid upon booking. Once you have made contact and have your chosen course date, you will need to complete payment. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the course.

• Understand the properties and different functions of dermal fillers.

• Understand how to choose which dermal filler to use for greatest effect.

• Understand important facial anatomy and integrate this into a facial assessment.

• Understand the anatomy of the face with regards to safety, side effects reduction, efficacy and longevity of treatments.

• Understand how to avoid but also deal with side effects, from simple allergy to the very rare but serious side effect of impending necrosis caused by arterial embolism or compression.

• Understand how to treat localised allergic reaction to dermal fillers.

• Understand how to manage side effects of dermal filler, including reversing a treatment safely.

• Understand how dermal filler treatments change or persist over time to avoid over-treatment.

• Establish confidence through supervised consultation, assessment and treatment of demo models with dermal filler.

• Learn the important practical differences between ‘standard’ injections given in general medical practice and the much more skilled aesthetic injection technique.

• Know the various dermal filler injection techniques and when to use them.

• See the importance of good medical photography in practise.

This course is designed for students who have one of the following: Level 3 NVQ in beauty or equivalent, 6 months experience in a skin invasive treatment such as microblading, microneedling, SPMU or a current injectables qualification. 

If you have no experience in any of the above, please check out our Pathway to Aesthetics Training Course, where you will gain the appropriate qualifications allowing you to move forward in the aesthetics field.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will issued your accredited certificate.

This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.
