This course is designed as a refresher course for hairdressers looking to regain knowledge on basic hair colouring techniques. You will learn a range of colouring techniques including how to apply colour to a full head and apply to regrowth. How to apply colour foils to the T-Section Highlights, in addition apply half a head of highlights using foils and a full head highlights using foils. The course is spread over three days at the training academy.

This course is structured over three days and each day runs from 10am – 5pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. All products and tools are provided for the training day. No kit is required to complete the course, nor included in the course fee. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day.

A £50 deposit is to be paid upon booking. Once you have made contact and have your chosen course date, you will need to complete payment. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the course.

After completion of this three day accredited training course you will be able to confidently: Apply colour to a full head and apply to regrowth. Apply colour foils to the T-Section Highlights, Apply half a head of highlights using foils and Apply a full head highlights using foils. We provide all of the training equipment for you to use over the course.

You will be taught everything from completing a consultation, patch test and moving on to colour techniques, given full instruction before completing the colour technique on the training head or models. 

This training course teaches the generic treatment techniques and processes, it is not brand specific,

We took this approach so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products as part of their course fee. We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase your chosen products after having taken the course.

This course is open to existing hair Colourists looking to update their skills and refresh their knowledge on basic hair colouring techniques. Students are required to have previously obtained a hairdressing NVQ/VRQ level 2 or equivalent.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will receive a certificate issued by Forever Enhanced Training Academy and accredited by BIA (Beauty Industry Approval) allowing you to begin working with clients providing hair colouring treatments. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance. 

Once you have finished your practical training course with us, you will be required to build a portfolio of evidence to show that you are competent in these hair colouring techniques. Upon completion of your portfolio your certificate will be emailed to you and there is no additional work to be completed. Paper certificates available on request.
