This treatment is known under many names: derma pen, dermaroller, microneedling and so on. They all however refer to a skin treatment where a number of tiny needles are rolled across the skin’s surface. This brings fresh bloodflow to the surface as your skin attempts to heal itself and, in the process, improves the overall look of the skin. Not every client will have smooth, clear and fresh-looking skin and having this treatment under your belt will allow you to correct issues such as this, due to facts such as acne scarring, burns, scars and stretch marks.

Throughout this course you will be given a thorough understanding of exactly what this treatment can do and how it can be adapted for each individual client based on their individual requirements. The course consists of equal parts theory and practice with the opportunity to work on your very first live model to start building your portfolio as an Official Microneedling Technician.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 5pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch.

All products and tools are provided for the training day. No kit is required to complete the course, nor included in the course fee. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee will be provided.

A £50 deposit is to be paid upon booking. Once you have made contact and have your chosen course date, you will need to complete payment. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the course.

Micro-needling (Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a minimally invasive rejuvenation procedure.

The benefits of micro-needling are a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin, scars, stretch marks, hyper-pigmentation, and dark spots. The outcome is beautiful, youthful looking skin.

We work with microneedling Dermapen range and as part of this course we will cover appropriate products from this range. Skills and knowledge from this course will be transferable to other brands.

We cover mainly treatments for the face, although we touch upon hair & body treatments.

Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our Anatomy & Physiology online course, and Luxury Facial or/have completed similar level training with an alternative provider. In addition hold a level 3 in beauty therapy. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge to get the most from this 1 day course.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will receive a certificate issued by Forever Enhanced Training Academy and accredited by BIA (Beauty Industry Approval). This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.
