This Aromatherapy Massage Course will show you how to select the correct oils to suit your client’s needs, and how to perform a full body aromatherapy massage as well as relevant homecare and after care. Our training course teaches the treatments techniques and processes, they are not brand specific, We took this approach so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 5pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will give and receive treatments as part of this course. All products and tools are provided for the training day. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee will be provided.

Once your practical date is secured, you'll be sent your course manual and learning materials to complete before training day. Students can either pay in full at the time of booking or secure their space with a £100 deposit, with the remaining balance due on the day of your course.

Aromatherapy is a massage treatment that has the potential to benefit clients both physically and mentally, specifically using the properties of essential pre-blended oils as they are absorbed through the skin during massage. You will learn soothing aromatherapy massage techniques that are designed to assist the penetration of the oils into the body which relaxes tense, tight muscles and calms the mind whilst surrounded by the subtle aroma of chosen oils. This deeply relaxing massage therapy works to relieve stress and stress-related conditions such as insomnia and headaches. This course will teach you how to select and safely use appropriate pre-blended aromatherapy oils according to the client’s individual needs.

Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our Swedish (full) body massage training course/have completed similar level training with an alternative provider or hold level 2 in beauty therapy. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge of massage techniques in order to get the most from this 1 day course. 

During the course, our expert tutors will carefully review your work. If your technique meets industry standards, you will receive your certificate at the end of the course, this will be emailed to you. Printed copies are also available upon request.

If we feel that any aspect of your work requires further improvement, you may be asked to complete additional case studies before certification is awarded. This process ensures every student leaves us fully prepared and qualified to begin working on clients with confidence.
