E-File Training Course

Take your nail skills to the next level with our professional E-File Nail Training Course, designed to enhance speed, precision, and confidence when working with acrylic or gel nail enhancements. This course is ideal for nail technicians who want to refine their removal techniques, prepare the natural nail safely, and carry out infill and maintenance services with ease.

Please note: A manicure qualification is required to enrol in this course.

Led by expert tutors, your training will be delivered in a hands-on, practical environment where you'll work on live models. You’ll learn how to safely and effectively use the electric nail file for a variety of techniques including cuticle work, product removal, finish filing, and prepping the nail plate for extensions.

An E-File machine is included with your course, allowing you to begin offering professional e-file services straight after completion.

Whether you work in a salon or run your own freelance nail business, mastering the e-file will save time, reduce hand strain, and elevate the quality of your work.

What This Course Covers.

​This course covers:

• Safe and hygienic use of the electric file (E-File)

• Understanding different drill bits and their uses

• Prepping the natural nail using an e-file

• Refining, smoothing, and shaping acrylic and gel enhancements

• Safe removal of gel polish, acrylic, or hard gel

• Cuticle work with e-file attachments

• Infill and rebalance techniques using the e-file

• How to reduce bulk and lift without causing damage

• Machine maintenance and hygiene practices

• Client consultation, safety and aftercare advice

Course Structure

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 3pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will practice your treatments on live models to allow you the maximum time and opportunity during the course to acquire and demonstrate your practical skills. 

All products and tools are provided for the training day. No kit is required to complete the course, nor included in the course fee. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day.

Once your practical date is secured, you'll be sent your course manual and learning materials to complete before training day. Students can either pay in full at the time of booking or secure their space with a £150 deposit, with the remaining balance due on the day of your course.

Course Entry Requirements 

Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our Manicure Course/have completed similar level training with an alternative provider, or hold level 2 in beauty therapy. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge of nail preparation techniques in order to get the most from this 1 day course. 

Qualification & Additional Work

During the course, our expert tutors will carefully review your work. If your technique meets industry standards, you will receive your Electric Filing (E-File) certificate at the end of the day, this will be emailed to you. Printed copies are also available upon request.

If we feel that any aspect of your work requires further improvement, you may be asked to complete additional case studies before certification is awarded. This process ensures every student leaves us fully prepared and qualified to begin working on clients with confidence.
