Our one day Fully Accredited Manicure & Application of Gel Polish course will teach you the essential skills that any nail technician should hold in order to provide this treatment to their clients. Due to the longevity and high-gloss finish, the Gel Nail Polish is particularly popular all-year round and learning this skill would enhance your services.

The objective of this course is that by the end of it you are able to perform a professional treatment in a safe and hygienic manner in a commercially acceptable time, along with gaining experience of carrying out a consultation with the knowledge of the background, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare, equipment and products needed.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. This course requires a model for the practical lesson.

This training course teaches you the generic treatment techniques and processes, they are not brand specific.

We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase your chosen products after having taken the course.

All products and tools are provided for the training day. No kit is required to complete the course, nor included in the course fee. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day.

You must first book your face-to-face practical session, once you have arranged your chosen dates, you will then be sent your online material to complete. Students have the option to pay the course in full or a £50 deposit with the remaining balance due on the day of the course. If you are using our finance company the deposit is included in the finance.

Gel polish is an essential skill for any therapist; all of us want attractive hands but we don’t always have the time to maintain them. It is one of the most in-demand nail treatments throughout the country, specifically because of the high-gloss shine finish, zero-drying time along with no edge-wear, chips, scratching or dulling; ideal for those who lead a busy lifestyle. Following the course, once you have obtained insurance you will be able to work on paying client's offering a gel polish manicure treatment.

Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our Manicure Course/completed similar level training with an alternative provider, or hold level 2 in beauty therapy. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge of nail preparation techniques in order to get the most from this 1 day course. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will receive a certificate issued by Forever Enhanced Training Academy and accredited by BIA (Beauty Industry Approval). This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying client's.

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there is no additional work to be completed for this course. Your certificate will be issued to you at the end of the course.
