This comprehensive Dermaplaning course will show you how to safely and skilfully use a surgical blade to exfoliate the skin, minimize imperfections, remove fine vellus hairs and increase product penetration.

Students will learn the skin anatomy and function whilst understanding hair growth in relation to the face and the effects of dermaplane treatment, also addressing common misunderstandings of the procedure.

Our tutors will guide you through the day with the first half being spent going over the theory of the treatment in detail, patient selection including pre and post care. Using the second half of the day for practical learning with live models. After watching your trainer demonstrate the treatment you will perform the procedure on your own live model. Your tutor will be on hand to answer any questions you may have as you go. Whilst also using the time to discuss other facial treatments that can be used in combination with the dermaplane.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 5pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. 

Whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

All products and tools are provided for the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day.

A £50 deposit is to be paid upon booking. Once you have made contact and have your chosen course date, you will need to complete payment. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the course.

Facial skincare treatments are hugely popular with a diverse range of clients, all looking to improve the condition and appearance of their skin. This course will teach you the essential skills to offer a dermaplaning Facial treatment to your clients. Students will cover the key techniques to deliver a therapeutic treatment to bring an improvement in the appearance and condition of the skin. It is also an ideal course to quickly learn new skills or refresh your knowledge of facial treatments for existing therapists.

We provide all products, tools and equipment required to complete the practical training day. Our training courses teach the generic treatment techniques and processes, they are not brand specific, We took this approach following student feedback so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products as part of their course fee.

We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase your chosen products after having taken the course.

Before booking onto this course, you are required to have completed our luxury facial training course/have completed similar level training with an alternative provider or hold level 2 in beauty therapy. This is to ensure you have the required level of knowledge of the skins anatomy & physiology and in order to get the most from this 1 day course. 

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will receive a certificate issued by Forever Enhanced Training Academy and accredited by BIA (Beauty Industry Approval). This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients.

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there is no additional work to be completed. Your certificate will be issued at the end of the course.
