This Indian Head Massage Course teaches the ancient art of Indian Head massage techniques which uses a variety of different massage movements as well as learning about the balancing and channelling of chakras. This convenient treatment can be carried out on low backed chairs so it's a great treatment for mobile therapist’s to offer. The course will teach you a specialised massage technique that works on pressure points to stimulate the movement of blood, lymph and oxygen in the upper body, including preparation of treatment, consultation, massage techniques and aftercare.

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 5pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.30am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will give and receive treatments as part of this course. All products and tools are provided for the training day at the centre when you attend. On the training day, you only need to bring food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad). Tea & coffee are provided on the day

You must first book your face-to-face practical session, once you have arranged your chosen dates, you will then be sent your online material to complete. Students have the option to pay the course in full or a £50 deposit with the remaining balance due on the day of the course. If you are using our finance company the deposit is included in the finance.

The Indian Head Massage treatment concentrates on areas most vulnerable to tension: the scalp; face; upper back; neck and shoulders. These are all areas that are strained day-to-day but rarely receive appropriate attention, causing stress to build in the body. Indian head massages can be carried out using dry hands, oil, floral waters or astringents depending upon the requirements of the client. This particular massage is an ideal treatment for many stress-related problems and can be carried out over clothes if required. During the treatment, chakras or energy centres of the body are worked on restoring harmony and balance and leaving the client feeling revitalized.

Before taking this Indian Head Massage Course, students will be need to hold a body massage qualification or level 2 in beauty therapy.

When you have successfully completed your training course, you will receive a certificate issued by Forever Enhanced Training Academy and accredited by BIA (Beauty Industry Approval) allowing you to begin working with clients providing Indian head massage treatments. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance. 

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there is no additional work to be completed. Your certificate will be issued to you at the end of the day.
